Nancy
Wylie is a sixth generation native of Arvada. Much of her art is inspired
by the Colorado landscape. She taught art in Jefferson County schools
for several years before devoting full time to raising her family and
working on her art. She paints with watercolor, pastels and oils in a
realistic style, with emphasis on light and color. The subjects she enjoys
most are landscapes and florals.
Education
BA in Art Education from the University of Northern Colorado, including
a half year in Italy, 1977
